Yappy Hour

Bring your cuddly canine to the Schaumburg Park District's inaugural Yappy Hour from  The event features award-winning wine samples from Lynfred Winery in addition to plenty of cold beverages (beer or pop). No food will be served.

“This is a great way to spend a Friday evening with friends, pets and pet friends,” said Carrie Sperling, manager of Meineke Recreation Center. “We’ll have plenty of activities for adults, kids and dogs to keep everyone busy and having fun.”

A DJ, dog agility course, craft area for kids and special dog events are all part of the early evening fun. Participants must be 21 years of age to drink alcohol. A copy of your dog's shot records must be brought to the event.

Cost for adults (18+) is $12 for residents and $18 for non-residents. Cost for children (3-17 years) is $3/$5. Cost includes all drinks. Dogs are admitted free!

30th Anniversary Winemaker Dinner at Allgauer's

On October 14, 1979, Fred Koehler opened Lynfred Winery in Roselle, Illinois.

30 years later we will celebrate with a winemaker dinner at Allgauer's in Lisle. Executive Chef, Nick Landeweer, will create a five course dinner to complement Lynfred's extraordinary wines.

Owner Fred Koehler will share stories of the winery's history while you enjoy the fruits of our labor.

The newest location for Lynfred Winery opened Saturday, November 15, 2008!

 

 

Situated on Milwaukee Avenue, the newest Lynfred Winery is nestled among several antique shops, a bridal shop, and a doll house. Originally an old farmhouse, the property has been restored from its former antique shop to host as Lynfred’s second home. The bar and wine racks are already installed and look beautiful. Wheeling features a tasting room similar to our original location, a gift shop and a porch perfect for sipping wine!
