Valvin Muscat was developed in the 1960’s at Cornell University’s New York State Agricultural Experiment Station to produce a vine more winter hardy and disease resistant than Muscat vines. This interspecific variety produces wines with distinctive Muscat aromas and flavors, lively floral nuances, and a clean and crisp acidity.
