Fred’s Red wine is an easy to drink red that is perfect for every day! Fred’s Red is our house-blend in honor of Lynfred founder, Fred Koehler.

Blend: 48% Merlot, 26% Cabernet Sauvignon, 16% Syrah, 5% Petite Sirah, 5% Alicante Boushet
Grower: Columbia Valley, WA & Clarksburg, CA
Aged: American oak, 12 months

Color: deep ruby
Aroma: cherry, black plum, blackberry, cedar, vanilla, rose petal, tobacco
Palate: plum, cherry, vanilla, dark chocolate, ground peppercorn, mocha coffee
Body: medium
Finish: ripe tannins, fruity, complex
Foods: barbecue, sausages, panini, pastas, hot dogs, Italian beef, semi-hard cheeses, deep dish pizza
