This October, we’re raising a glass to our robust and beautiful 2019 Petit Verdot, our featured wine of the month, specially priced at just $21.50 (regularly $27) through October 31. Originating from Bordeaux, this grape is usually the supporting actor in world-famous blends, but here it takes center stage with deep ruby hues, aromas of plum and lilac, and a palate of blackberry, violets, and sage. With a whisper of Petite Sirah to round out its structure, this wine is as smooth as it is complex—perfect for pairing with hearty fall dishes like grilled lamb, smoky barbecue, or earthy mushrooms.
