Recipe by Lynfred Brand Ambassador Laura Lorenz

Ingredients
1 oz whiskey
1.5 oz Lynfred Spiced Apple Wine, chilled
Lynfred Vin de City Sparkling Demi-Sec, chilled
Pomegranate seeds and rosemary (garnish)
Honey and light brown sugar (for rimming the glass)

Directions
There are a couple of options for rimming your glass. For more of a traditional style rim, you can dip the flute glass in honey and then in brown sugar and set aside to dry. Or for the waterfall effect, lightly paint honey onto the flute glass and then press it into brown sugar and set aside to dry. In a mixing glass add the apple wine and the whiskey and stir with a cocktail spoon. Pour the whiskey and wine mixture into the flute glass. Next, add the pomegranate seeds and top off the drink with Sparkling Vin de City Demi-Sec, garnish with a sprig of rosemary.

*I used a whiskey that had a lot of spice notes and was higher proof. Different whiskeys can transform a cocktail so have fun and play around with some of your favorites.
*If you don’t like your cocktails sweet, omit the rimming of the glass.
*My waterfall rim was purposely thicker for photography. I recommend just pressing the glass into brown sugar and tapping the glass so any extra falls off.
