Petite Sirah is one of the biggest, most powerful, and tannic wines produced in America. Petite Sirah was one of the most popular grape varieties planted in California, especially in Napa Valley. Petite Sirah is often used to literally ‘beef up’ other wines, adding a little tannic boost. As a stand-alone varietal, it is praised for being a chewy wine that defies its ‘little’ name. Our Lynfred Petite Sirah 2018 was made from 100% Petite Sirah grapes from Clarksburg, California. After a long aging in American oak barrels, the wine developed firm and round tannins, and sweet oak flavors of oak, dried plums, and baking spices.
Blend: 100% Petite Sirah
