Recipe By Lynfred Brand Ambassador, Laura Lorenz
Makes 1 Drink

Ingredients
1 oz Lynfred’s Blackberry Wine
2 oz bourbon +bourbon for boozy berries
1 tsp water
3-4 dashes bitters
2-3 blackberries for boozy berries (recipe below)
Garnish-boozy berries and an orange twist
Ice cube

Directions
In a mixing glass add ice, blackberry wine, 2 oz bourbon, water, and bitters; stir well until chilled. Take your serving glass (I prefer a rocks glass for this cocktail), squeeze the orange peel over the top to release the oils, and then wipe the inside of the glass with the orange peel. Next, strain into the glass over a large ice cube (aka fancy ice). Add the orange peel to the glass and garnish with boozy berries.

Boozy Berries
Take the desired amount of fresh, ripe blackberries and cover them with bourbon (just enough to barely cover them). Let them sit at room temperature for 3-5 days in a glass container (I like to keep them in a small mason jar). I prefer to garnish each drink with 2-3 berries.

Tips
*Cocktails are completely customizable!
*More sweet? Add a little granulated sugar while you are stirring the drink; stir until dissolved.
*Bourbon lover? Cut the wine down to ½ oz.
*Don’t like it too strong? Cut the bourbon down to 1oz and add ½ oz more wine, a small squeeze of an
orange (about ¼ tsp), and an additional 1 tsp of water
