Makes 1 Cocktail
1.5 oz tequila
2.5 oz Lynfred Mango wine, chilled
Ice
Sparkling mineral water
Mint for garnish
In a cocktail glass add the tequila, wine, and ice; shake well. Pour into desired serving glass over ice. Add the desired amount of sparkling mineral water (see notes) and gently stir, garnish with mint.
*A blanco tequila is preferred for this cocktail but a reposado will also work.
*I used a 16oz mason jar for this cocktail and filled it to the top. If you want a stronger cocktail, use less mineral water or vice versa, for a more mellow cocktail add more mineral water.
*I made “fancy” ice for this cocktail by adding chopped mango and torn mint leaves to an ice cube tray and freezing it with water. If you do not want to go that far, try adding frozen mango and regular ice to the cocktail when serving.
*Want a touch of citrus? Fresh lime juice is a terrific addition (a quick spritz before shaking), or as a garnish.
