Syrah is ranked as the world’s 6^th most planted wine grape and has thrived in the Rhône Valley of France for thousands of years. Syrah is also a successful grape in Australia, South Africa, and the United States. The great climate and soil conditions in the Lodi Valley of California allow the Syrah vines to produce wines full of vibrant fruit aromas and floral flavors, with refreshing acidity.

Color: deep garnet
Aroma: blueberries, violets, vanilla, tobacco
Palate: cassis, tea leaves, caramel
Body: full
Finish: smooth, warm, floral
Foods: barbecued chicken or pork chops, lamb w/ herbs, grilled beef short ribs, chili, mushrooms, grilled eggplant, osso buco, rich pasta
Cheeses: hard/aged cheeses such as Gouda, Parmesan, Pecorino
