Lodi is internationally recognized for producing exceptional Zinfandels, distinguished by their supple texture and expressive profiles of fully ripened fruit and warm spice. This storied region has earned its reputation as the Zinfandel Capital of the World, with old vines playing a pivotal role in revealing the depth and complexity of Lodi’s distinctive terroir, shaped by generations of thoughtful viticulture.

The 2022 Lynfred Zinfandel reflects this heritage with refined aromas and flavors of ripe cherry and plum, complemented by subtle notes of violet and sweet vanilla. The palate is balanced and polished, offering richness without excess and a smooth, lingering finish that highlights both varietal character and timeless craftsmanship.

Though historically rooted in Croatia, Zinfandel has long embraced American cuisine at the table. This vintage pairs beautifully with grilled chicken, barbecued pork, cheeseburgers, and pizza, allowing the wine’s fruit and spice to shine alongside bold, savory flavors.
