Recipe by Lynfred Brand Ambassador, Laura Lorenz

Ingredients
French baguette
Brie cheese
walnuts, chopped
fresh thyme
honey

Directions
Preheat the oven to 425 degrees. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper. Slice the
French baguette into ½ inch pieces. Next cut the brie into ¼ inch slices with the length of each
slice the same size as the crostini (you want the cheese to fit perfectly on top of the bread) *. Lay
the bread slices onto the parchment lined baking sheet. Then top with one slice of cheese. Bake
for 5-7 minutes or until the cheese is melted. Remove from the oven and place on the desired
serving platter. Sprinkle each crostini with fresh thyme leaves (a few leaves per crostini) and a
few walnut pieces. Then drizzle with honey.

Helpful Hints
*You can slice the rind off if desired, I really enjoy the texture.
*Freeze the wheel of brie for 10 minutes, this makes it easier to slice.
*One standard wheel of brie uses about ½ of a French baguette
